The updated iPad will be sold at nearly ten thousand stores, starting today. The tablet will be available at AT&T, Verizon, Wal-Mart and Target stores. The original iPad sold 300,000 units in 24 hours, but analysts seem to agree that the iPad 2 will blow those numbers out of the water.
The lines are horrendous since this was a total rushed affair, there was no pre-ordering. So those ordering online will have to wait weeks to receive. One woman started waiting online Wednesday, and after nearly 41 hours of waiting in line sold her number one spot for $900.
According to TUAW’s Poll of black or white is: “White”, “We’re tired of black. We want more Stormtrooper, less Vader.”
